Privacy

Short version: This is a marketing website. We collect what you give us, only when you give it to us, and we don't sell or share it.

This page describes how we handle information from visitors to www.pkgsystems.com and from people who contact us about our services. It is intentionally short and written in plain language. If you need more, email us and we'll answer specific questions in writing.

What we collect

  • What you send us. When you email us at help@pkgsystems.com, we keep your message and reply to it.
  • Server logs. Our web server logs request URL, IP address, browser user-agent, referrer, and timestamp for every request. These are operational logs used to keep the site running and to detect abuse. They are retained for a limited window and then discarded.
  • Cookies. This site does not set tracking cookies. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any third-party advertising or analytics tracker. If we add a session cookie in the future (for example, to support a logged-in pre-discovery feature), we will say so on this page and the relevant page will explain what it does.
  • First-party analytics. This site measures itself with our own analytics, served from this same domain — no third-party service ever sees your visit. The beacon records the page path, how you arrived (referrer and campaign tags, when present), time on page, and scroll depth. It sets no cookies, stores no IP addresses, and carries no identifier that follows you across sites or even across visits. Raw events are kept for 90 days, then reduced to aggregate statistics.

What we do not collect

  • We do not place advertising or third-party analytics trackers on this site.
  • We do not sell visitor data, email addresses, or any other information to anyone.
  • We do not share visitor data with marketing partners. (We don't have any.)
  • We do not use your data to train machine learning models.

Email

If you email us, your email passes through standard email infrastructure on its way to our inbox — the email service of your provider, intermediate relays, and our incoming mail server. We use AWS Simple Email Service for outbound replies. Once a message reaches our inbox, we keep it for as long as it's relevant to the conversation, and we delete or archive it when it's not.

Payments

When you pay an invoice or buy something from us online, the payment page is hosted by Stripe, our payment processor. Card numbers and bank account details are entered there and go to Stripe; we never see or store them. What we receive back is what a receipt shows: who paid, how much, when, the last four digits of the card or account, and the invoice it settles. We keep that as part of the customer record for the engagement or purchase it belongs to, for as long as accounting rules require. Stripe's own handling of payment data is described in Stripe's privacy policy. Nothing about a payment is used for advertising or shared with anyone but Stripe, our bank, and our accountant.

Future features

We are planning to add a contact form and an AI-assisted pre-discovery agent to this site. When those go live, this page will be updated to describe exactly what they collect, how long it's stored, and how to ask us to delete it. Nothing is collected today beyond what's described above.

Customer engagements

This page covers website visitors and casual contact. Privacy and data handling for active customer engagements are governed by the contract for that engagement, not this page. Our standard engagement model is single-tenant by design: customer data lives in a Kubernetes environment we operate exclusively for that customer. We never aggregate customer data across customers. We never use customer data to train models or improve services for anyone else.

SMS notifications - internal application alerts

Enrollment notice: SMS alerts begin only after written recipient consent and SMS sender verification.

PKGSYSTEMS, LLC (PKG Systems) operates a voluntary SMS program for its designated owner/operator. It sends operational alerts when a Profonti website inquiry needs attention. This program does not enroll website visitors or send marketing texts to customers or prospects.

For this program, we use the recipient's name and mobile number, their consent record, and necessary delivery and opt-out records to send requested alerts and honor their choices. Texts identify the site and provide a review link; they do not include the visitor's message content.

Telnyx and participating telecommunications carriers process the mobile number and message/delivery information needed to route the texts. Authorized service providers may process this information only as needed to operate the program. Access within PKG Systems is limited to personnel who administer the alerts or handle a related request.

No mobile information will be sold or shared with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes. SMS opt-in data and consent records are not used for advertising or shared with marketing partners.

We retain program records only as needed to provide the requested alerts, document consent, honor opt-outs, and meet applicable obligations. Questions about this information or requests to stop alerts can be sent to help@pkgsystems.com. You may also reply STOP to the sending number.
